This crap about vending machines needs to stop. If they want kids to choose OJ over soda, then make the cost help them choose. When I was still in high school, OJ was 50 cents more than a soda. OJ was $1.50. Coming from a low income family, I had to get the pop because it cost less (got $2.00 a day for lunch and school lunch was $5.00). It was vending machines or? nothing. I'd rather eat from the machines than go hungry. Just as a side note, I currently weigh 121 lbs and I'm 22 yrs old. Not fat.

@ML0822 There is a lot of guilt when you are pregnant and overweight. I just hope and pray that my choices were good enough that my children won't see side effects from my being heavy. If I had it all to do again I would want to be thin when I got pregnant. All in all my pregnancy was pretty easy considering. I did what my Doctor said? to control the diabetes as well as I could and ended up having very normal sized baby's. Thanks for watching!

@raceto140 Thanks for watching! Pregnancy turned out to be nothing that I expected! I was put on a pretty strict diet towards the end of both my pregnancies. I had? to really watch my carb intake or my blood sugars were way too high. High blood sugars can lead to lots of problems including a huge baby. I wasn't interested in a huge baby so I watched it very carefully :)

I actually watched this entire video even though I follow you for? weight loss purposes. I'm very interested in pregnancy while overweight and hearing others' stories, because I was also very overweight with my first pregnancy. I started at about 210lbs and ended up at a bit over 260 when I delivered. I was at risk for gestational diabetes, but was never diagnosed with it, and I also had very uncomfortable swelling especially in my face and feet. I'm hoping my next pregnancy will be healthy!

I dont get what pilots have to be stressed about? Most planes now adays? fly themselves on auto. All the pilot has to do is do the landing and take off. On top of that its the flight attendants that cater to the passengers. Being a pilot is one of the easiest highest paying jobs there is.

The key here isn't weight but being healthy as he said in the video. You can't just lose weight and throw in the towel. Losing weight doesn't make you healthy. It really is about an entire LIFESTYLE alteration. We ALL need to be "checked". But if you are obese (not just overweight there's a difference) then yes it's very likely that you have/will develop diabetes mellitus (type 2), high ldl chlesterol, and hypertension. Being obese ISN'T necessary to have these health issues but it drastically increaes the chances that's a fact.

Great comments. I would like to point out that there are a lot of mental health issues that go unaddressed or treated within the "coloured" community period. There are those who eat when they are experiencing emotional difficulties? or stress. I feel this is contributing to the obesity rate amoung coloured people (i.e. black, indian, latin people). i am having a hard time holding poses or very long to a severe back/neck/nerve injury so i don't have a lot of feeling in my back and neck.? Any suggestions. Just keep going at whatever pace i can do? Also have a lot o pain in my knees, and just finding ANY center o balance....used to be very flexible so this is frustrating. (i.e. downward dog is really really hard for me which it didn't used to be...i am 6 ft tall and feel like my body is overly stretched out.

After like 2 minutes, my wrists feel such a throbbing pain from putting so much pressure. Any tips?? And i recently sprained my right? and ankle and was told not to do yoga. But, I'm trying to do it with no pressure. Can you make a video for people who can't put pressure on their feet or ankles?

I've really loved doing these yoga workouts, this one especially, and have seen definite changes in both? weight loss and strength gains. Thank you so much Sadie! But recently I've stopped doing the Shakti kicks because of a sacroiliac sprain, but I miss what they do for my body. Any substitution suggestions that accomplish the same thing but are gentler on my spine? Thank you so so much again, this has really helped me!

James was in a severed state of depression. He could not stop eating. We were able to help him start eating normally. James used to eat enough food in one day to feed two families for a week. Unfortunately, the damage was done.
